With inflation at least I have put 10k in Series I bonds, at 9.62% interest rate in May, might average in November over a year a bit lower but still probably 8%. You can do another 10k per kid as well, so 30k at 8% will give you a higher return then anything would give you coming 12-18 months. Downside, you need to leave it there for 15 months, because if you take out before 5 years you lose last 3 months of interest. But I think inflation stays relative high coming 2 years were you can get maybe 8% this year and 5-6% next year.
Thanks Dustin good info
Great advice
Dustin, that is a very good point. I guess they have much faith in the fed?
Could you do a video on how to handle winning the 1 billion dollar mega million? What would you specifically do if you won that amount overnight? Take cash option for 600 mil? Set aside 50% for taxes, etc etc
Very good advice. Thanks!
Doesn’t matter if product goes up and the rate did go up (interest rates) they get more money. So yes inflation banks bank more dough.
Thanks
