All these idiots in the comments think this is a climate bill. This is a tax hike on the middle class. And mass audits are coming. The average American just got screwed.

Three times heard WORD FOR WORD “It’s going to make the Feds job easier”. What does that even mean? A scripted response I assume I’m going to hear on every channel.

If you create $500 Billion out of thin air, you just weakened the dollar more with increased inflation. And if you don't think that businesses will pass the higher Corporate taxes off to consumers, you are smoking something!!!

  6. Denny Atkins

The government spending their way out of inflation? That sounds like a stupid idea. If you believe spending will fix inflation, then you're probably broke and on a government assistance program already.

It's a Climate Bill. Why can't it just be called that??

ProPublica found that while the median American household earning roughly $70,000 per year paid 14% in federal taxes each year, the 25 richest Americans (by Forbes’ tally) paid a “true tax rate” of just 3.4% on wealth growth of $401 billion between 2014 and 2018.

How does taxing corporations take money out of the system? The government gets that money and what do you think they do with it? Save it? Pay off the federal debt?

Also, when you tax corporations, that is a cost to the corporation. They then attempt to pass that cost to consumers. That causes an increase in prices. An increase in prices reduces the demand for the products. That lower demand lowers output and reduces the number of hours employees work to produce those products.

Why does the Wharton School of Business says this bill has a significance of zero??

This won’t do anything to reduce inflation…might even increase it…are taxes increasing for the middle class?

lol…better read it yourself. Foreign Owned Corporations setting up shop and not paying taxes, Zero Energy homes. Good times. Does not do a thing to fix inflation. The couple grand energy efficient grants for homes only helps the Democrat Non Profits that get the Grants in the first place. Start looking for home appliance installation jobs with Democrat non profits doing energy efficient crap
