Hey guys, here’s my 401k retirement stock portfolio update. I just choose regular Vanguard index funds like VSMPX and VBTIX—no target date funds here. Between my previous video in 2019 on 401k and this video, I’m up almost another $100k. I’m up $70k since the start of the pandemic on my long-term investments in this account, and I’m glad I didn’t cave in and convert to bonds at the bottom. Here’s how I’m handling my 401k!

    Thank you for the video, I really needed this! Is there a reason why you chose index funds over ETFs? For example, VTSAX over VTI?

    Also hugely important to not pull that money out early. The most common age range for retirement withdrawals isn't people in their 60's, it's the 20-29 year olds. Don't throw away your biggest asset, time for compounding growth!
