On the 23rd of May 2023, the popular morning show Ireland AM had a great line-up for guests, including Rory’s Stories, GAA star Philly McMahon, Joel Corry, and new alcohol labelling. Each of these guests had important things to share with viewers, making for an interesting and engaging segment.
First up was Rory’s Stories, a popular social media figure who uses humor and wit to make observations about daily life, sports, and Irish culture. Rory’s Stories has a huge following on social media, and during his interview he talked about his experience of going viral and how he has used that fame to raise money for charity. Rory also talked about his upcoming book, which he hopes will connect with people in a more meaningful way than just his funny videos.
Next up was Philly McMahon, a star of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). McMahon plays for the Dublin team and has won numerous titles over the years, but he is also known for his work off the field. Philly has been involved in campaigns to promote mental health and well-being, and during his interview, he talked about his own struggles with addiction and how he has used his platform as a GAA player to speak out about the issue. Philly’s candid and honest interview was inspiring and showed that athletes can be more than just sports stars.
Joel Corry was the third guest. Corry is a DJ and music producer from the UK who has had multiple hits over the years. During his interview, he talked about his latest single, which was a collaboration with a popular Irish artist. He also spoke about his love for Ireland and how he always looks forward to coming over to perform. Joel’s enthusiasm for Irish culture and music was infectious, and his interview was a highlight of the show.
Finally, the show ended with a segment on new alcohol labelling. The discussion centered around how the new labelling laws would help consumers make more informed decisions about their alcohol intake. The guests discussed why this was such an important issue, particularly for young people who may not be aware of the health implications of excessive drinking.
Overall, the show was an excellent mix of entertainment and informative content, with a little something for everyone. Each of the guests was engaging and brought something unique to the table. It was a great example of how morning shows can be more than just fluff and can actually provide real value to viewers.
