Is FAANG Good To Buy Right Now?

Is FAANG Good To Buy Right Now? Because it’s cheap, or will it keep falling?

What are some indicators of the future of FAANG tomorrow? next month? At the start of 2023? Mid-2023?

And right now should I buy some Google, Amazon, etc?

Thank you!

Great time to put everything and leverage into 3x leveraged faang funds like FNGU.

No matter what the result it’ll be post worthy on a meme subreddit.

    >The current situation with FAANG stocks is highly dependent on the overall market conditions. If the stock market continues to trend downwards, then it is unlikely that FAANG stocks will see any significant gains in the near future. However, if the stock market turns around and starts to trend upwards again, then FAANG stocks could potentially rebound significantly.

As for whether or not you should buyFAANGstocks right now, that ultimately depends on your own investment strategy and risk tolerance.

Tier 1 (Low Risk/Medium Reward): I think Amazon and Google are good value picks. They have great fundamental businesses, large moats, and are very innovative. When the economy picks back up they should as well. Same logic applies to Apple except I think it is not quite as good a value at these levels and a little riskier. Also not sure if the 30% cut on app purchases is sustainable and good chance it could be subject to a legal threat.

Tier 2 (Medium Risk/High Reward): META is by far the most attractively priced stock of this group. Its P/E ratio is about 9. Even if it doesn’t ever retrace to its former heights and growth flatlines there is still value to be unlocked at these levels. But, if you trust Zuckerberg and his metaverse bet pays off, META could easily be a multi-trillion dollar company. Only FAANG company with the potential for exponential growth I think. On the other hand if the Metaverse turns into Zuckerberg’s white whale it is possible to see him literally betting the company on it and losing. I think META is the only FAANG company I would not be shocked to see bankrupt over the next five years.

Tier 3 (Medium Risk/Low Reward): Netflix’s biggest problem is it has no moat. It has gone from being the place to stream movies and tv to just one of the many options available. Netflix has a lot of original content, but it is expensive doesn’t really stand out when compared with the offerings of HBO Max, Prime, and Disney Plus. So I am not sure what the growth story will be here. The ad tier and crackdown on password sharing give the potential for some short term upside, but in the long run I just think they continue to fade into one streaming service among an ever growing number of options.

Note: I have zero expertise and this is not investment advice, blah, blah, blah.

the great thing about WSB is that even when you lose, you win.

there will be a great time to buy faang but it’s probably not now. probably next year.

Tech is getting crushed. Apple is the only stock I would consider picking up in this current market for the long term.

Cheap by what context? Its p/e ratio is still much higher than the market average.
