“We weren’t expecting to see as many retirees during the pandemic. That was as much as 2 million jobs left vacant. Part of the problem is the economy hasn’t got bad enough to bring them back out of retirement.”

I love how the government solves problems they created. Government officials never lose their job, but it’s okay for the common man too.

Anybody get the underlying problem is the government 99% of the time

    Did you guys not listen?
He litterly said that with a soft landing he meant a smallspike in unemplyment and possibly a dmall recession.

  17. conman357

3.7% unemployment. In the eyes of the Fed, basically record level. Dialing that back to 5% isn’t unreasonable, it’s just callus. Macroeconomic policy doesn’t see people – it sees numbers.

  18. fancyhumanxd

Shit will crash again. No pivot yet

So many people are being taken in by the big bad #WEF plan you’ll own nothing and be happy.

The real WEF plan seems to be, you’ll own nothing and be grateful for a slice of government bread.

Some people don’t like to work so it’s fine.

  23. Teddy_Anneman

Some of you will lose your jobs, but it’s a hardship I’m willing to make.

    -JPow

So inflation may be the result of supply chain and production issues. JPow wants people to be less productive and give out unemployment benefits? So demand is still there, but fewer products will drive up the price?

  24. Boostlagg

Recession starts about 12 months after the inversion when the unemployment start increasing.
