Please understand that ITrust Capital is not all happiness and sunshine. When you get to the point where you are ready to take your retirement distributions out of their custodial care, you will be required to jump through multiple hoops. I have taken money out of other IRA's (Merrill Lynch, Vanguard, Charles Schwab) with no problem or inconvenience. With ITrust, you will have to make multiple emails, fill out online forms, wait for extended time periods to pass, and be required to have a one on one zoom call with a company official. If I would have know the level of inconvenience involved, I would never have started an account with them in the first place.
I invested a good amount with Itrust. The good thing is you can do as many trading you want without any short term investment taxes. If you do at Coinbase trading daily or weekly you will end up paying 30 to 40% short term investment taxes.
Itrust Capital can be fast, efficient and effective in setting up and funding an account and buying/selling crypto/gold. The fees are low. Getting distributions is another matter completely-it can take several weeks, communication is difficult in any mode. Cooperation, communication and performance are nearly disfunctional for distributions-beware!!!!

To be able to talk to an agent, a have to scheudelle and it show "no times in May",the whole month of May are all booked. Beware iTrust Capital is experiencing "glitches." It's the only explanation they can offer for why they have been holding my money for over 14 days now. I've missed several buy in opportunities and they still cannot tell me when my funds will be available or why exactly they have been holding them in cash.
But isn't this the same as leaving your crypto on an exchange? Would you rather putting into cold storage?

Unfortunately ItrustCapital is a joke. They can't handle the volume coming in after all their commercials. They should be embarrassed with their lack of professionalism and service. Good luck getting money you move in there actual available for trade. Expect 1 month+ from the start of your transfer to get access to your funds. Probably best to pass on this company until they get their situation figured out.
How on earth could you pretend that the huge 1% fee to buy and sell is anywhere close to what Coinbase or Gemini charge? You're comparing 1% against 0.25% in other places.
hi ! Have had my eye on this for awhile! Think I may finally do it. So once I transfer my current IRA (in my case it's a lame traditional one lol), 1. can i convert that one into a Roth? And 2., can I sell /swap out my current IRA stocks for crypto once it's folded into iTrust Capital, (and without that swap being a taxable event). Much thanks for the video and any further info.
