    Again, it’s transitory

  2. Kysiz

He’s got over 6% inflation left to curb, there are probably a few more hidden doors

  3. Parabellim

    J Powell right now:

  4. Yattiel

    What absolutely backwards thinking.
He should have gotten aggressive as shit right from the start. But he’s probably more worried about what the institutions think. Not a leader at all.

  5. hiricinee

Inflation is the last to go. The LAST thing people are going to do is stop buying gas, food, or housing- meaning you have to see people foreclosing, moving in with family, getting laid off, even selling off positions before inflation takes one on the chin.

Forcing poor people to sell their assets so the rich can swoop it up like always

Bonds are getting fairly cheap. Buying bonds now means a decent profit when rates come down in something like a year. To hell with crypto. Equity will be at a premium buying opportunity in 1-2 months. As for unemployment…. I’m applying for a government job. Best bene’s around.

  8. DetN8

Yeah, you know your model of shit is fucked when you say that unemployment is “too low” and that it’s a problem.

  9. Adventurous_Fact8418

Sadly, there isn’t a human alive right now who really understands the wackiness of today’s labor market. This is going to be brutal.

  10. zenethics

Federal reserve is like a heart doctor that only has shock paddles. Great if you’re having a heart attack. Not what you want if you only have high blood pressure.

Worst Fed chairman in my professional career

  15. Constant_Kitchen5737

This is a generational wealth transfer. Only an idiot would think the FED and Government are here to help people, it’s exactly the opposite.

A sad state of our reality, J.P. does not give 2 shits about people! He is saving the insiders, friends and those with money will by buying things on a fire sale for pennies.

  16. Fickle-Pickle-Admin

More call’s on Powell’s butt mayonnaise?

  18. Patient_Estimate3284

We needed Powell to be transitory badly, and yet he’s becoming as entrenched as inflation.

  19. gestoneandhowe

J Powell is the first to admit he doesn’t know what the hell is going on.

  20. TheBrutevsTheFool

Everytime I open my portfolio and see everything trending red I know this mf said SOMETHING

  21. Sampson437

Remember when everyone wanted the second and third stimmies? Yea that was fun.

  22. CrankyStinkman

JPow gonna cut rates slowly until the whole economy is dead and we have 20% inflation. Because the economy is transitory.

  23. ThirdHuman

In stemming a wage-price cycle, you hope that reversing frothiness in asset markets will be enough to prevent early retirements and increase labor supply. But in reality, you usually just end up burning through all that wealth so you can hit labor demand on the firm side to fully stem the cycle.

  24. jgalt5042

Inflation is fiscal in nature. They’re going to have to hike a lot harder to kill it

  25. Wanna_Runn

Funny enough that is exactly what is happening destroying everything but inflation

  26. solarpropietor

I mean how the fuck do you stop inflation that is driven by a lack of supply?

Please use small words I’m a ratard.
