If your business model is to take deposit(liabilities) and lend them out to earn yield it makes sense that your assets and liabilities should be about even. Minus the companies own cash flow and savings
The ruling by Judge Netburn was positive for Ripple but, again, we see no impact on the price of XRP. Only the SEC would continue with the dubious narrative that XRP is a security of Ripple.
