I am in my 40s looking for different avenues to invest I found my self a good broker referred by big sharks in stock market, she grew my portfolio from quarter a million to four million dollars in the first months of the year, if you are looking to diversify do it now you are never too old.

@Rob Berger – I don't see the link to the spreadsheet with your portfolio holding you was going to put after the show. Do I have to look harder?

Stable valuefund in 401K is currently paying less than 3% (from 2% at beginning of last year), while treasuries are paying 4.5% and corporate/muni's more. Thoughts on safety of stable value over loss of income with decent rates. It doesn't seem to be catching up very fast.

  4. Selma

What do you think of stable value funds in 401K as retiree for bond allocation–right now stable value fund is lagging treasuries and muni and corporate bonds by quite a bit? I like the guaranteed positive rate. Or are transferring to IRA and buying treasuries/corporate bonds a better bet for long term? Have liked getting a positive return the past decade without risk.

IMO – you are right-on regarding the two football game calls. And the National Championship was just terrible.

What other investment vehicles are there for your average investor that uses Fidelity in a market that I believe will be flat. Especially when he is two or three years away from retirement

I finally got to reset my Direct Account today. It finally recognized my account. I can finally buy T-Bills in small $100 increments. That's best I can say about it because investment websites in the secondary market you have to buy in a minimum of $1000. That sort of sucks and you're forced to buy bond funds in the Equity market. when you can only set a side so much on a limited budget.

I keep on getting $38,000 a month for micro stock integration with I had to handle with my insurance and pensions , currently earning roughly 69.01% , return on investment which about 650%, from just one particular trade investment in a live time , my portfolio is good thanks to Valerie Anne yarvin❤ much love to her stock com

I have some vymi as my international allocation.

I have pension that joint life payout is tied is tied 7520 interest rate, I was considering taking as lumpsum. However, now that interest rates increased, monthly payout has increased to about 8 % annual return. The amount is about 25% of total portfolio. At what annual return does a pension become reasonable, what percent of retirement income should be "guaranteed", ie ss, pension, annuity? When and what % do you think 7520 rate will peak in 23? I'm retired 64 yes old, parents still alive at 94- long livers.

Rob, speaking of Ben Felix, is there any chance of having him as a guest?

I’m pretty agnostic when I comes to US vs. International. I’m 55/45 US/INT. I don’t see any reason to expect continued US outperformance. I also don’t see any reason to expect INT outperformance. I win either way.

  13. Jason Hobbs

I for one would appreciate not talking about things other than finance. I imagine it decreases your viewership, as you’re marketing only to those that like your financial advice and want to talk about football or chess. I love your financial content! But I dislike trying to skip to what I care about. Just my two cents.

  14. Chuck Burkett

Personal Capital shows my at 14% but I am currently putting 60% of my contributions in international.

Hey Rob! Excellent video session and many thanks for showing us your portfolio but would you please also care to show us its performance against SP500 on 6m, 1Y, 3Y and 5Y basis? Thank you! I understand you probably changed it over the years a little but still 🙂

  16. K W

Rob, might be the best show you have shared. Playing with an open hand is fantastic. Cannot say thank you enough. Excellent work.

  17. radu florea

rob should I sell my vtip it is losing money. Thank you so much.

  18. Baltazar Garcia

529 rollover is supposed to be for beneficiary, but the beneficiary is easy to change.

  19. R Jared

I hear harsh criticism of Bill Bergen as a “Market Timer” and two major questions come to mind: How do you define “Market Timer” and what data is Bengen using to support his recommendations to reduce exposure to US equities?

  20. Trudy

As far as the war goes, we have dictators here! there is no freedom of the press when the FBI actively gets involved with Twitter & you can't speak out against the Vax, etc. Madeline Albright said USA killing 500,000 children was worth it for oil. Think about that!! Maybe the rest of the world looks at us much differently than we think of ourselves.

  21. Gary Miller

Off the topic, but the OSU kicker flat out choked. He had made a FG from 48 yards earlier in the game. This was 50. He had the leg and the distance. Pressure got to him. Felt for him, but that is how I see that ending.

  22. Justmylukc

I am unsubscribing because your lying about Putin and our freedom of speech. By now everyone should know that alot of people in the west are been censored for telling the truth.

  23. a

With the crazy run up in US and the seeming value of Int I'm at 35% Int because VXUS is already paying 3% div

  24. Iván GR3

Sblty stands for Sustainability I think

  25. Jesse

I currently have international exposure at 40%. I am trying not to make any judgment about future returns and based it off of market cap weighting. That said low valuations in international stocks could mean higher expected returns moving forward.

  26. Jesse

When people say “get out of stocks” with no context, it is quite disturbing to me. If you are still building wealth, that advice could be extremely harmful to long term wealth creation. You should be buying while the market is down, so getting out of stocks is bad advice. For those who are retired, the advice might be different, but it is better to have an allocation that matches your goals and risk profile.

  27. Don OFD

Sorry to say, I’ve been an OSU football hater ever since that A-hole Woody Hayes was the coach. Love to watch them lose. That said, love your videos.
