In this video we are buying $240 in $VOO in my Roth IRA account that I have through Fidelity. Slow, steady and consistent investing is how I plan on making it to retirement.
Every 2 weeks when the paycheck rolls in I plan on “paying myself first” and investing into the Roth IRA in either VOO or SCHD for now. I hope that as the years go by and compound interest really starts to take hold that I can retire comfortably and live the life that I want.

Maximizing VOO Buys In My Roth IRA – How I Plan on Retiring with $$$
Retirement is an inevitability that we all need to face at one point in our lives. However, the biggest question that many ask is how they will take care of themselves when they can no longer work actively. The answer is simple, financial planning. Investing in Roth IRAs is a great method of planning for retirement. In this article, we will discuss how you can maximize VOO buys in your Roth IRA.
First things first, what is a Roth IRA? Roth IRAs are individual investment accounts that allow you to save and invest money for retirement tax-free. You can contribute up to $6,000 yearly in your Roth IRA account, and the withdrawals that you make after age 59½ are tax-free. However, there’s a catch. Unlike Traditional IRAs, contributions to Roth IRAs are made using post-tax dollars. But the fact that you make withdrawals tax-free makes it an ideal choice for many.
One of the best methods of investing in a Roth IRA is through VOO buys. VOO is the Vanguard 500 ETF that approximates the performance of the S&P 500, an index of the 500 largest companies in the US. Investing in VOO buys offers a large-scale investment across several companies, and the investment amount is pretty low. The investment of $10,000 in VOO buys during its 2010 launch would be worth over $57,000 by mid-2021.
For someone who is looking to maximize their VOO buys, here’s a plan that you can follow:
1. Research and understand the market: Investing in the stock market can be risky. Hence before investing your money, do your research and analysis of the market’s performance. To maximize your Roth IRA, additional contributions to your account can be made 6-12 months after the market’s significant dip, resulting in reduced stock prices.
2. Set up Automatic contributions: To allow for consistent investing, set up automatic contributions into your Roth IRA account. Not only will it save you time, but it will also help you avoid being overwhelmed by buying and selling securities yourself.
3. Keep costs low: One of the best ways to maximize returns on your investment is to reduce costs. Monitor management fees, trading fees, and investment taxes and choose any low-cost investment products such as Vanguard. By doing so, you can keep your expense ratios low and maximize your VOO buys.
4. Diversify your portfolio: Investing entirely in VOO buys may not be the best strategy for maximizing your returns. As the markets change, diversifying your portfolio will ensure that you are well protected against fluctuations in the market’s performance.
In conclusion, creating a solid financial plan from an early age can help you maximize your VOO buys in your Roth IRA. With consistent contributions and strategic investment diversification, you can be confident in your investment to retire with $$$ and live a comfortable life.
