I purchase and sell stocks for long term and short term goals.
Where do I begin learning how to complete option transactions?
Also, apparently I need to make this longer in order for it to be posted. Ignore this portion as I just need to lengthen the text.

Inthemoney on YouTube is a good start
YouTube. Kirk Duplessis options Alpha, His older content. And Tastytrade.
I enjoy Brad Finn’s videos ([https://www.youtube.com/c/BradFinn](https://www.youtube.com/c/BradFinn)). Maybe stick to cash secured puts / covered calls for a while. If you want to gamble instead, just be prepared to lose it all.
Tastytrade.com . They broadcast 8 hours a day, and all the shows are in the library. If you have an email you can sign up. Basically they are about SELLING OPTIONS.
>There are numerous resources available online and in libraries that can teach you about options trading. You might start by reading some articles or books on the subject, or taking an online course. Once you have a basic understanding of how options work, you’ll need to find a broker who offers option trading services.
Start with (selling) Covered Calls, and watch a lot of videos agree with /u/68stang89 InTheMoney is pretty good.
CCs are usually what people start with when they are holding the stonks and it’s fairly straight forward.
Agree with Tasty, super solid. But I gotta shout out InTheMoney. I learned most of my options trading from his YouTube channel
I learned abt options a few weeks ago. They’re complicated but not too complicated. In a nutshell there are times u want to hold til the exp and times u don’t. Once u sort all that out (it will be dif for every options) u can make ur own system.
