The world of heavy metal has always been synonymous with power, intensity, and unrelenting energy. It is a genre that transports listeners to another realm, where they can unleash their inner wildness and headbang to thunderous guitar riffs. Now, imagine a band that not only embodies the essence of metal but also ventures into the fantastical dimensions of the gaming world. Enter Pentakill, a virtual heavy metal band brought to life by Riot Games, known for their immensely popular game League of Legends.
Pentakill was first introduced to the gaming community in 2014 with their debut album, “Smite and Ignite.” Since then, they have amassed a cult following, with fans eagerly awaiting their latest offering, “Pentakill III: Lost Chapter.” Released on September 8th, 2021, this album takes listeners on another epic journey that blends the realms of gaming and metal music.
Featuring an all-star lineup of vocalists, including Jørn Lande, Noora Louhimo, and several other talented artists, Pentakill’s latest album is a powerhouse of melodic yet ferocious tracks that resonate with the passion of metal enthusiasts. The album consists of nine original songs that showcase the band’s evolution and growth since their inception.
Each track in “Pentakill III: Lost Chapter” tells a unique story, weaving together elements from the game’s lore with the band’s sonic identity. From the epic and symphonic opening track, “Vanguard,” to the intense and thunderous “Fatal Force,” every song radiates a sense of grandeur and power that is typical of Pentakill’s style.
“Lost Chapter” is a standout track on the album, featuring Noora Louhimo’s enchanting vocals accompanied by a hauntingly beautiful orchestration. The song transports listeners to a mystical realm, where they become immersed in a tale of adventure and heroism. It dynamically captures the essence of Riot Games’ enchanting world while staying true to the aggressive nature of metal music.
In addition to their original compositions, Pentakill also pays homage to classics in the metal genre with their cover of George Lynch’s “Angel Witch.” This track perfectly blends the nostalgia of the past with the fresh and invigorating sound of the band, creating a harmonious balance between tradition and innovation.
The production quality of “Pentakill III: Lost Chapter” is top-notch, further enhancing the immersive experience for listeners. Riot Games’ commitment to delivering a high-caliber musical project is evident in every aspect of the album, from the powerful instrumentals to the intricate mixing and mastering.

“Pentakill III: Lost Chapter” is not just an album; it is an embodiment of the passion and creativity that drives the metal and gaming communities. It serves as a testament to Riot Games’ commitment to crafting exceptional music that connects with a diverse range of fans.

This is way scarier than the actual lore. Damn i love it.
Wait, so Riot designed all of this cool, dark, edgy concept art and they came out with Victorious skins instead? Riot wut?
Since there're new pentakill skins i'll be really annoyed if they don't call kayle's skin "PentaKayle"
But will it be better than the Doom Eternal soundtrack? Lol
Meh….KDA is better. No cute waifus in Pentakill at all

If only the splashart was like this…
So this is before pentakill but kayle "rejoins" the band in 2nd album?
Plot for the Plot Holes!
Wait, what happened to Morde's abs?
I don't know why the skins in game don't convey the real dark theme.
The question here is are we getting a k/da level budget MV
I don't think anyone noticed this. But Karthus is voiced by Jorn Lande, a famous Norwegian metal singer. Now that I look at how they've drawn Karthus's face, you can kinda recognise Jorn's eyes and overall facial features. It's a really cool thing for Metalheads to notice!
cool
Necesitamos mas campeones terroríficos como Fiddlestick
yes! now i can bang my head while losing matches.
I still don't understand why we had Kayle joining Pentakill when basically Morgana has the look for
the hell? these look so much better than the actual splash art lmao
I always thought that K/DA, True damage, and Pentakill exist in the same universe.
