Pokemon Scarlet and Violet TERA RAID GUIDE / How To Beat 5 Star Tera Raids and How To Beat 6 Star Tera Raids! If you are having problems beating 5 star Tera Raids it means you need to train more and use my other Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Guides. Online Tera Raids are a bit more complicated because they are either super easy or you get very under leveled players leeching and potentially failing the raid.

Im farming for an eevee with fairy tera type and it keeps coming up as a male. How do you like changes its gender in tera raids?
Shout out to all my homies that use Armarouge and Ceruledge that use fire type moves on each other to proc flash fire
How do you even find 6star? I've completed the game, but haven't found one…
Do you have to catch a Pokémon to get all the rewards or do I still get just as much rewards for not catching it?
Do I have to be level 100 that seems aggressive. I'm level 79-80 rn. Also I've done everything story wise and can't find a single 6 star raid But I agree with everything you've had to say.
The Eevee event is free candy because eevee doesn't do that much damage even at 5 star.
Are catch’s guaranteed after the raids? I haven’t seen anyone say theyve failed a capturw
I’m short get good
People posting 1-4 star raids is just annoying. Also I've done online raids where randos had no idea of move types the pokemon use. People bringing pokemon weak to fairy into battle against gardevoir that has moonblast and draining kiss is true pain. Something people should keep in mind.
just want to know why my full atk or sp.atk pokemon do even with super effective attacks no damage but you just talk about rewards and waste time
Worst guide ever…useless
You mean we have to work at getting good!?!?!?! Lol always blows my mind too how some players are, like breeding and training is all part of the game.
Gonna put this out there, use Gholdengo. I hate it's design but it's a raid machine!
Modest – hold spell tag
252 – hp
252 – sp. Attack
Nasty plot
Shadow ball/hex
Metal sound
Recover
I use this against anything Koraidon can't handle and I haven't had trouble soloing any 6 star raids. I prefer hex as most of the npc trainers tend to try and status.
Quick question. Is it possible to change the pokemon's gender in a terra raid battle?
Eat raid power sandwich to increase item drops?
Hi, great video! Which type checker website did you use? I can't seem to find the one you used.
Found in description! Disregard.
My first 6 star was ditto
Easy way to get started in tera raids if you're not sure where to start, is grab a normal type pokemon that's as much of a tank as possible, get abilities that help you survive, and helping hand, then keep an eye on how much damage your team mates are doing, whoever's doing the most, helping hand them and use cheers, you can cover just about any tera type raid this way as long as you don't get too many bum groups. surviving is the most important, if your damage is low, your team can make up for that, if you die every hit, it's a guaranteed wipe.
First of all ty for all the guides regarding Pokemon S/V 😀 Is it possible to get an Ability Patch out of a 5-Star Raid or does it have to be 6 Star?
Nice guide, time to get good ! Did we get any information on how the Shield phase works, and if speed is better than bulk in Tera raids ?
What’s the best evs and move set for Scizor? I want to use Scizor on terra raids
At times, I feel as if the NPCs are completely dead weight most of the time with them constantly missing moves and randomly bringing in bad matchup pokemon to the wild mon's moveset.
I already did a few solo raids myself, and some pokemon are just pure agony to defeat due to how bulk works in the games, and I feel as if the Tera Raid mon's HP stat has been scaled up just to add another insulting troll to solo players. Cause if the NPCs keep dying to the 5 star in question having at least 5-6 moves at their disposal because of their setup strats, it feels as if most of the time, they're just pure dead weight. If most of these losses are based on RNG and not skill, I just generally find that insulting most of the time. On top of the fact that the NPCs losing about 103 in a stat makes it to where they can barely chip the raid mon's health because of such differences and ludicrous scaling.
The guide regarding NPCs in question is still a huge gamble considering the questionable move choices the NPCs make (will-o-MISS as an example) and most of the time even if you have such competitive ready pokemon, it'll just make them dead weight. The ruin legendaries as an example LOWERS the stats of pokemon around it, except itself, so while you have an advantage in making the team stronger by making the raid mon weaker, you are also creating a double edged sword that can in turn make the same NPCs faint faster or just become wet noodles that can't inflict damage, which again, makes them not viable.
It feels as if the raids cater to certain pokemon, and if you don't have those pokemon in question, then you'll just always lose no matter how many times you attempt it, whether it be from move RNG, status, or just the NPCs dying over and over again because they keep choosing a move with 85% accuracy… and MISSING constantly while the raid mon busts out 5-6 different moves and then has a BS set-up strategy that can't be replicated when you catch it.
I had a Dark Tera Scyther that had Swords Dance, agility, focus energy, x-scissor, slash and aerial ace with Technician as an ability, and having a 90 power flying move that NEVER misses with +2 to attack is just ridiculously busted. You can imagine how many resets that happened there before I finally won due to the Raid Mon making bad move choices vs. Swords Dance Lucario.
Status conditions can also turn your success into a fail, especially burn, paralysis, sleep, and if you end up being frozen, you're better off either cheering heal (which is another RNG in itself) or running at that point.
I also feel as if the Tera star rating affects the mon's HP to have higher scaling cause normally a +6 to a mon's attacking stat would just bulldoze through everything (cept for unaware), but the +6 strat doesn't even take down 33% of the raid mon's HP despite it being a super-effective attack (180 power Close Combat, 1,400 ATK Lucario vs 5 star Tera weak to it.)
Mathematically, trying to hyper carry will result in fails most of the time and spending too much time setting up would just result in a reset and turn the matchup in question into a fat, unkillable wall, even if you have EV/IV trained level 100 pokemon ready for competitive.
More people need to cheer than they think!
