After the debacle at Regionals I decide to do some cold weather testing on the CZ and Vudoo. The results are not great and I’m not happy with myself for not testing this before hand.

I enjoy your videos you are shooting way too fast slow down a little you have some great equipment keep them coming

Any identical bullet travelling faster wont ever drift more in the wind than the same bullet travelling slower, you cant defy the laws of physics, the fast something travels the less time the wind has to affect it. The Vudoo had more horizontal due to the barrels dislike of the ammo, try a barrel tuner to get the barrel better tuned to the ammo.

    Thanks for the excellent video.

Hey Josh, noticed in your vids you use a Titan cheek rest on your CZ. I also got a Titan for my CZ 457 Pro Varmint, but never installed it because it seems like it would prevent easy cleaning with my rod. What do you do for cleaning with that thing on?

What scope camera setup is that?

  7. Shawn Pirtle

What scope are you using on your CZ?

These vids makes me feel good about owning my 457. It ain't always the arrow. It's usually the Indian. 🙂

Great video as always. But if people knew what I knew about a certain rifle that cost $350.00 bucks. They would want to hang themselves for wasting that much money on the CZ 457 and the Overpriced Vudoo. But I am not here to make the rifle I speak of skyrocket in price, or it to be out of stock until the end of days. I am here just to say. Don't buy Hype people, just know REAL WORLD FACTS FOR YOURSELF.

Off topic, but what jacket do you have on?

  15. possumpopper89

Where do you buy your ammo that you have a choice in what lot number you purchase?

Seems like an awful lot of money to pay for a firearm and then have to play with the mag. to make it feed. Is this a cronic problem or have they addressed it and came up with a fix. If i were the MFG that would not be just a tad bit embarrassing, but a huge burr under my saddle. Every channel i watch this is a hot topic.

The CZ is a more accurate gun than the VODO.

The scope cam lets us see the slightly inconsistent recoil patterns too. Sometimes up and left, sometimes up and right, etc. It doesn't seem to have a significant effect on impacts?

Good evening! I just want to say thanks for the great video!! I'm currently thinking about purchasing a precision .22lr and while doing a search it had the Aunschutz and Vudoo at the top. I really don't want to spend $3000 as I'm not going to be competing and want something to use in a Remington 700 chassis so it will be a similar setup to a 300 WM/7mm but less expensive to shoot. I was wondering if you could give the details of your CZ setup, what stock it's in, your feedback on feeding and any issues you have with the CZ and how it compares to the Vudoo? What kind of trigger and any key modifications you have done or one would need to do? And what's the ballpark price? Sorry for all the questions, The CZ seems pretty legit and if I can get a solid/comparable rifle for a lot less than a Vudoo than any info you could share would be greatly appreciated. What's your take on CZ 457 vs Bergara B14 if you have any knowledge of them comparably? Thank you sir!

    ~Chris

If I haven’t witnessed the shooting, I would not have believed it! A 22LR shooting out to and pass 150 yards in another video I watched.

  22. Arnold Foote

    Do shoot any Anschutz ?

  23. mister_nobody

with my vudoo i get about 1/2 inch spindrift at 100 yards.

  24. k9120

Love the videos brother. I'm currently shooting a kidd built 10//22 & a cz455 both are great shooters here at our local matches. I will be adding the cz457 precision trainer next.

  25. Hunter Simonton

It would be cool to see this comparison starting at 50yrd and then doing 100 and 150 to see how ether of them open up at distance.

  26. Isaac Carlson

I would put my CZ 455 up against a vudoo any day.

  27. Boyd Grandy

That is exceptional marksmanship. Who would have thought that 22LR shooting can be that precise and EXPENSIVE! Wow, you have a lot of money tied up in the rifles and in the optics.
I'm a plinker from way back, but I feel great hitting a 10 inch pie plate at 75 yards, fugetabout shooting one inch groups dead center.
My current 22 rifle is a surplus Romanian bolt action training piece, which I bought 30 years ago from a buddy at work. Post front and peep rear, 10 round mag. It is an off hand can shooting SOG, but it would never compete with your rigs.
