Get Ready NOW – PREPARE for a Power Grid Failure – Time is Short

We rely heavily on electricity in our modern society, from powering our homes and businesses to running critical infrastructure like hospitals and emergency services. But what would happen if the power grid failed? Experts warn that such a scenario is not as far-fetched as we might think, and it’s time to start preparing for the possibility of a power grid failure.

There are several potential causes of a power grid failure, including natural disasters like hurricanes or earthquakes, cyber attacks, and physical attacks on power infrastructure. Any of these events could result in a widespread and prolonged loss of power, with devastating consequences for our communities.

So, what can we do to prepare for a power grid failure? The first step is to recognize the potential for such an event and take it seriously. Too often, we assume that our power supply is reliable and will always be there when we need it. But as recent events have shown, this is not always the case.

Once we acknowledge the possibility of a power grid failure, we can start taking practical steps to prepare for it. This includes creating an emergency plan for our families and businesses, including identifying backup power sources such as generators and solar panels. It’s also important to stock up on essential supplies like food, water, and medical supplies that can sustain us during a power outage.

In addition to individual preparations, local and state governments should also take steps to ensure that critical infrastructure is resilient in the face of a power grid failure. This may involve investing in backup power systems for hospitals and emergency services, as well as developing plans for managing the impact of a widespread power outage on communities.

The time to prepare for a power grid failure is now. While we may not be able to prevent such an event from occurring, we can take steps to minimize its impact on our lives and our communities. By recognizing the potential for a power grid failure and taking practical steps to prepare for it, we can ensure that we are ready to weather the storm when it comes. Don’t wait until it’s too late – start preparing for a power grid failure today.

I seen a job posting recently for a company working with the Army Corps Of Engineers power generation plants. The position requires secret clearance and they are fitting these power plants with H.E.M.P (high altitude electro magnetic pulse) protection. I found that interesting and very telling about the real risk with EMP's. Apparently the Corps Of Engineers is taking it serious enough to retrofit these plants with some kind of protection.
