Colbert Cannon is a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners. Prior to joining HPS in 2017, Mr. Cannon was a Partner and Director of Research at Wingspan Investment Management, a distressed credit investment firm launched in 2013. Prior to Wingspan, Mr. Cannon was a Managing Director at Glenview Capital, where he led the Credit Investment effort from 2009 to 2012. Prior to joining Glenview, Mr. Cannon was a Principal at Audax Group, a Boston-based Private Equity firm. Mr. Cannon began his career in Mergers and Acquisitions Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Cannon holds an AB in Social Studies from Harvard College.

Peter Lockhead joined ICG in June 2017, and is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of the Senior Debt Partners strategy. Prior to joining ICG, he was the Portfolio Manager for Avenue Capital’s direct lending business in Europe, having joined Avenue in September 2012 to establish that business. Previously, Peter was a Managing Director and Head of Sponsor Leveraged Finance at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and before that a Managing Director in the Financial Sponsor Coverage and Leverage Finance groups at Merrill Lynch. Previously, he worked for Barclays Capital in their Leveraged Finance & Sponsor Coverage Group and NatWest Markets in their Acquisition Finance team.

Peter received a first-class honours degree in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University.

James Keenan, CFA, Managing Director, is Chief Investment Officer and Global Head of Credit for BlackRock Alternatives and Chairman and interim Chief Executive Officer of the BlackRock Capital Investment Corporation.

Mr. Keenan has led BlackRock’s Credit platform since 2006, overseeing investment strategy, processes, performance, risk management, platform strategic planning and growth initiatives, and partnerships with BlackRock’s distribution channels. Under Mr. Keenan’s leadership, the platform has significantly expanded to offer clients a full range of investment strategies and solutions in leveraged finance, hedge fund and liquid alternative strategies, multi-strategy credit solutions, and private credit opportunities in middle market direct lending and opportunistic credit. Since 2004, he has managed investment portfolios at BlackRock across a range of strategies including high yield credit, opportunistic and distressed lending, and long/short hedge funds.

Mr. Keenan is a member of BlackRock’s Global Operating Committee, the Executive Committee of BlackRock Alternatives, and Investment Committees for BlackRock Private Equity Partners, Long-Term Private Capital, and Alternative Solutions Group.

Mr. Keenan began his career in credit research and trading with UBS Global Asset Management and Columbia Management Group. He earned a BBA in finance from the University of Notre Dame in 1998. He is a member of Notre Dame’s Wall Street Committee, its Athletic Advisory Council, and the Board of Directors of Good Shepherd Services, a service and advocacy partnership in New York City.

Joel Holsinger is a Partner, Portfolio Manager and Co-Head of Alternative Credit in the Ares Credit Group. Mr. Holsinger serves as a member of the Ares Credit Group’s Alternative Credit Executive Committee and the Alternative Credit, Pathfinder and Pathfinder Core Investment Committees. He also serves as a member of the Ares Secondaries Group’s Private Equity Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Ares in 2019, Mr. Holsinger was a Partner at Fortress Investment Group in the Credit Group, where he served on the Management Committee of Fortress and the Investment Committee for the Credit Funds. He also co-headed Illiquid Credit, which included leading the Direct Lending, Structured Equity, Net Lease, Structured Finance and Energy Groups at Fortress and focused on tactical and opportunistic direct investments across all asset classes, industries and geographies.
