I kept saying Rutherford said we couldn't prove the movement of the earth while on the earth. I meant to say Poincare, which was one of the reason HE invented the theory of relativity. It was Rutherford who said he didn't understand relativity. .

Hey Josh, 38 here enjoy your content. Part of the smaller percentage I guess. I enjoy your view point I am technically behind in retirement and while that is probably not true with all your data points . Thanks for being a voice of reason with in the realm of the nay sayers .

It’s okay to be open minded , but not so open minded that your brains fall out.

You shouldn't use actuary tables to estimate your individual lifespan. Actuary tables are based on statistical average lifespans – not YOUR specific lifespan, which may vary significantly either above or below the mean. The correct way to estimate your lifespan is to: (1) Look at your parents and broader family history. Your parents' history are genetic bookends for bracketing your expected lifespan. (2) Assess your personal health with an in depth physical and honest assessment of your personal risk factors. (3) Take into consideration your personal lifestyle choices now and in the past – do you or did you smoke? Do you or did you abuse drugs? Do you or did you drink alcohol excessively? Do you or did you eat bad foods which cause diabetes, cancer and heart disease?

Put all these factors together and an honest person can develop a solid, estimated expiration date for YOU. Not some generic "citizen X" based on actuary tables. Your financial planning should be based on that honest assessment.

Take a group of 21st century humans and transport them to the Old Testament time period. They are there to just observe and take notes, not to interact and change history. Have them observe angels that were witnessed at that time, the wheel that Ezekiel saw in the sky, the flying scroll seen by Zechariah, and the chariot of fire seen by Elijah. Then compare the observations made by the ancient humans as described in the Bible with those of their 21st century counterparts. The "otherworldly" activity/technology is interpreted differently by ancient humans who have no point of reference other than what was available during that time. Imagine the Space Shuttle landing on an island in 2023, but the human inhabitants of the island have been cut off from the rest of the world for many centuries. How would they interpret the Space Shuttle?

So… let me guess this straight. You're saying the earth is flat? Really? And there is no space or men can't go into space… I'm missing something here. I guess a telescope is a deception device? I like your financial advice… but flat earth??

The "logical" conclusion of the reply by @Common_Sense would be that you would live forever, since your life expectancy 'goes up" as you get older.

Damn — what do I do when I ultimately run out of money because I would otherwise have imortality? Kill myself??!?!?

I used to mock UFOs until I read the Books of Enoch and Giants. Now I am the crazy alien (They are the Watchers, fallen angles) guy with a religious spin. Even the alien community doesn't know what to do with ne. It's fun.

You clearly misinterpreted my response to your video, and I guess I misinterpreted the point you were trying to make. It's your channel and you have the bully pulpit, so it's your right to call me wrong and laugh me off.

We challenge everything and the authorities, but we don't challenge religion, you give it blind faith, why one and not the other?
I see no evidence of any god whatsoever, yours the Muslims, the Indians so I am skeptical of them

My take away from this is Josh and Mr. common sense. Can’t agree that they agree with each other.

Actually your comment about life expectancy is mathematically incorrect.
I agree we have to be careful about overstating life expectancy, but we have to be careful about how we state averages, versus medians. Then the math on life expectancy depends on what population you look at.
The best example is if you go back 100 years, multiple children died in childhood, pulling down the “average” substantially.
The terminal life expectancy changes very little as you have stated.
So a population of 65 year olds, will have a higher average life expectancy than a population of infants.
Just as recent multiple overdose deaths in young people have brought down “average” life expectancy.
In the end using life expectancy of persons closer to retirement, is more accurate than using those of infants.
