VTSAX was my first index fund and remains my largest position as a core investment like you mentioned. I then began invested in VTI and a bit of VOO!! Index investing is literally the way to build wealth while keeping it simple, exactly how wealth building should be!

10% VBTLX
Rebalance once a year. Sell VBTLX to buy VTSAX when the market crashes. Repeat and chill.
