probably not best i wrote down your entire portfolio and want to match it haha, only with small amounts but still.

  3. Zae

Considering 1k/mo is all I would need to retire, I would disagree with The Man that $1000 a month is not even remotely worth the hassle.

  4. Darth Dividend

Everyone’s dividend portfolio is unique and evolves.

  5. Mollee Spillett

I'm a big fan of SCHD; it's my 2nd biggest holding behind DGRO

  6. R D

Having productive assets is a must. The end.

  7. Kenginsama

Great videos as always! Btw, I like your voice and the content, so I open your videos whenever I couldn't sleep 😀

  8. Nicholas Stillman

I really appreciate the video. I'd recommend the classic book "The Single Best Investment" by Lowell Miller to the dividend naysayers. People are always forgetting about dividend growth. It truly doesn't matter what happens with stock price when your yield on cost is beating the market and rising each year.

  9. Neil Cassar

I agree with you and also everyone is different and still depends on wealth people achieved and there goal is if you achieved financial free and lets say you put 60% bonds 20% high risk assets and 10% dividend stocks will still be good no metter what age it is

  10. Bernard Lynch

I'm so glad I didn't really make any big mistakes when I started my investment journey last year. So far I've just been sticking small amounts of money (think 1-5 bucks) into companies I'm sure will continue to exist for the next 5 years and if the stocks do well, I hold on. If not, I reinvest the bad ones into the good ones so I can get higher gains. It's not fool proof, but I did gain about $100 from putting in $40 into NVIDIA earlier so that was pretty nice.

  11. topcop5811

I screenshot your excel spreadsheet back in 2020. Cherry picked the dividend stocks I wanted. Also some Berkshire.
    DCA’d 190K over 6 months.
    7 years until retirement.

  12. fluffy isyermom

Ofcourse you shouldn't. I would say the only one to copy is a decades old index fund portfolio. Otherwise no, just no. Do your own research. If I didn't invest in altria because youtubers are saying smoking is out the door but they are saying to load up on green energy and move from oil cuz of the environment.

I know not to follow their advice xD

  13. stephen hansen

My Neurodivergence has the issue where sometimes it's hard to do random things, so if I can automate things it's much easier not to worry about things.

  14. Rocky Staatz

I have a hard enough time listening to my broker because they like to sell products they make more money than me on

  15. FallenByTheHand

If you have a portfolio of 250k and get a 4% net dividend return, you also het 10k a year in income WITHOUT selling your stocks.

  16. Rick Shrodder

When everything is even, just go back to monthly payers. Once it's even, it will stay like that, until there is a dividend cut on a stock you have.

  17. Rick Shrodder

Just how you want to do you portfolio, I might buy back into MO, for when it pays it dividend. To make 300 a month even around the board. then work on monthly income again. It will all be a level playing field.

  18. Rick Shrodder

$1000 dollars a month, I would take that for extra income.
