2.) It can act as a savings account. You are able withdrawal any of you contributions in the case of an emergency, so why not make some returns on your emergency fund instead of sitting in a bank account losing money to deflation.

When I was younger I always though finance and investing seemed boring. I thought real estate investing, stock market investing, and investing of all other kinds was only for those in the suits and ties. I could not have been more wrong.

I played sports growing up and loved to compete in everything I did. Look at investing as a competition. Every day you can learn more and more and continue to grow towards financial freedom, just like you would go to practice and train for a sport. I am still very competitive and I use that as fuel to continue to maximize my potential.

I am learning every single day and I still have much much more to learn.
