We should get every penny we paid in to SS but not one penny more.

I never thought I would be excited to turn 50 next year, but I sure as heck am now! I will easily max out the $30,000 in my 401k and the $7,500 in my Roth IRA (backdoor). My wife will also easily reach the $22, 500 on her TSP and the $6,500 on her Roth IRA. I am stoked!

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth … but nothing is a coincidence in DC. It's by design that this "good news" is being dropped just weeks before a national election. Same for the SS COLA increase announcement. Same for the Medicare PT B annual cost reduction. Same for the Student Loan forgiveness scam. All done NOW for a reason … to lessen the angst of voters against the party currently in power. Don't be fooled … vote the Dems out of office!!!!!!
