I haven’t been much of a stock market investor up until recently. I know my strengths and weaknesses, and stocks certainly does not fall under the strengths category. Because of that, I consulted an expert and invested $100,000 of my own money into different companies I believe in.
I invest through a SEP IRA because it lowers what I currently get taxed on. As a real estate investor and serial entrepreneur, I benefit more from lowering my taxable income now when I am making significant money as opposed to later on in life when I am looking to retire.

Not all traders have a trading system or investment plan, sometimes they buy or sell only based on guessing. Which isn't likely to work out too well for anyone trading in the Cryptocurrency markets over the long run sooner or later , they are wiped out of the market, thus are not among the 10% of successful trades. By not having a plan, you are planning to fail. Every successful trader always had a trading system and investment plan he applies while he trades. Don't buy stock on margin. Don't overweight or go all in with couple stocks. Stocks are just paper. You would be amazed how many publicly traded companies go broke. Don't buy the step-sister stock or alternate to the leader. There is usually a reason it's cheaper due to poor fundamentals or NO "MOAT" to protect the business. Real estate investing is better but not foolproof. There is no safe or sure thing investment anywhere, even putting your money in a bank isn't always safe. Focus on what you know how to do and if your passion is real estate learn as much as you can about it before jumping in. Do you all know that after the Great Depression many people wouldn't even trust the banks, they stuffed sofas and beds with their money. Don't buy a stock just because you like it or eat there. I'm glad you didn't overweight and go all in on Del Taco, if you had, it set you up to do this again and the next time, the stock might decrease 50% or more and you do bad. The pros spread an investors portfolio over different sectors. Mutual funds are pretty good for the long term.

I 100% agree with you Real Estate is the way to go, but for me I dont think Im the Flipping type of person i would like to just go with the BRRRR Method and have my job/and think of a business to get more income to buy more and more and use the stock market to just park my savings in an index fund

Funny thing is, you'll probably do better picking stocks based on what you like. My financial advisor didn't make a dime for me over a 3 year bull market…yes I fired him.
Ryan can do a video for freelancers who would like to work for real estate investors/agents or wholesalers from an off country site. Like which websites he/she should be familiar with, what kind of information you guys look for etc. By this, I don't mean those work where you get a big comission but the administrative part of the job. Like data scraping and led generation. I do freelance jobs when I get free time and often come across real estate guys posting hourly jobs or a one-time pay-off for lead generation and data management but I haven't been confident enough to take the leap yet.
I always follow my gut. Love tesla.
