Do you want to help your child get a head start on their financial future? A Roth IRA is a great way to do just that. A Roth IRA is a retirement savings account that allows your child to save and invest their earnings in a tax-advantaged way.

The great thing about a Roth IRA is that it allows your child to invest money that has already been taxed. This means that all of the money that your child earns and invests in the Roth IRA will grow tax free. This is a great way for your child to save for retirement, as all of the money that is earned and invested in the Roth IRA will not be taxed when it is withdrawn in the future.

One way to fund your child’s Roth IRA is to hire them to do some work for you. You can pay your child for doing household chores, babysitting, or any other job that you can think of. The money that they earn can then be saved in their Roth IRA. This is a great way to teach your child the importance of saving and investing for the future.

Another way to fund your child’s Roth IRA is to open a custodial account. This is an account that is managed by an adult, such as a parent or guardian, and is used to manage the investments and savings of a minor. You can open a custodial account for your child and then invest the money in a Roth IRA.

Finally, you can also help your child invest in a Roth IRA by teaching them about investing in English. Investing in English is a great way to help your child understand the basics of investing and how to make wise financial decisions. You can teach them about stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other types of investments. This will help them to understand the basics of investing and how to make wise financial decisions in the future.

A Roth IRA is a great way to help your child save and invest for their future. By hiring your child to do some work for you, opening a custodial account, and teaching them about investing in English, you can help your child get a head start on their financial future.

Can you list ways we can hire our young kids (under the age of 14)? For example, parents who are W2 employees and not self employed. I am W2 employee so I can't hire someone

I started doing this for my son when he was 9 (currently almost 11). My CPA makes me keep track of hours he works in the office and what his duties were. He has advised to only do $2k each year so but this is giving him an amazing start to tax free money in retirement!

We plan to do the same with my daughter. She is currently 5 and the CPA advised that we probably can’t get $2k worth of “work” out of her yet.

This was really great content, and something I have been researching to learn more about (to no avail). I've posted this question here a couple months ago and I knew one day I would see an in-depth discussion and analysis of how a custodial Roth IRA for kids can be done. All my remaining questions have been answered. Thanks again for another great video!!
