April fools' what if idea: What If Goku had learnt how to use Ginyu's "CHANGE" technique ?
One could amplify Goku's "challenge seeker" tendencies and sometimes swap with some of his friends / sparing partners during training, so he can have a challenge (especially during the most peaceful moments they had).
OF COURSE, he wouldn't use this technique to defeat Frieza (knowing his personality, Goku would want to defeat him as himself), but maybe use it during the training, preparing for the coming of the androids.
