I remember years ago, in business seminaries some gurus tried to convince us to use a self-directed to invest in real estate. The only problem was that all of us in the audience wanted to retire and quit our jobs. Now, with sound financial literacy I know that was impossible.
If I'm hearing you correctly, wouldn't the individual who creates the entity AND provides the funding be risking self-dealing as an unqualified member?
great thank you getting back to me
great idea, I just made an offer on a home, accepted. is it too late to do a SDIRA? can we do an amendment?
Great Video. On 9:38 the money from the sale of the property returning to the IRA tax free, would there be any thing owing for any capital gain? How will it be all tax free? Thank you

I am seeking Self Directed IRA to focus on Crypto. ALTO has a Self Directed IRA for Crypto. I am a Realtor, in Maryland. I want to start putting away my commission checks in Crypto investments. Does "The Business Guy" set up Self Directed IRA's for Crypto.
Can I use this self direct IRA strategy to invest in crypto. Net $87k in 3 months investing in crypto. Potential 7 figure within the next couple of year or less and I’m trying to avoid taxes. Thank
Like I have 30 years
A high earner can only put in after-tax dollars into the IRA, and that's capped at $6k/year currently. It would seem you'd have to have been doing this for quite a while before the principal has grown enough to be doing anything interesting, such as real estate transactions. Have I missed anything?
Would I still need to set up a LLC if I`m not actually buying property with my IRA, but rather using it to invest in real estate notes (EX. a company called Garnaco)?
Am in Jamaica can I set up an account with you
see? first one to watch 😉
