I have an existing LLC that is set up to purchase rental properties. I also have an 401k from a former employer that i would like to transfer over to a SDIRA and utilize the funds to provide capital to pay the entry fees for the rentals. I want to use the cash flow from the rentals to supplement my income; how can i structure the pay back to the SDIRA and have cash flow to boot?

Thank You Mark ! I do have a question. Currently, I have an AZ state pension that I need to transfer to self directed. How do I determine the best self directed account type for me ? I am not currently with that employer at this time.

Mark, I am a teacher and I am about to separate from my current employer. I really want to to do self direct …I really need your help to get started but I do not have a lot of money and I don’t know if I can afford your services. What are the options for me..

I like this idea, we just made an offer on a home, is it too late to use a SDIRA for this purchase?

Hi – great video! Mark mentioned one of his other videos where he tells us 4 ways to get a 15% return in our ROTH IRA every year. I'd like to watch that one, but I can't seem to find it. Can anyone tell me the title or provide the link? Thanks!

I'm 52 and had my Roth IRA for over 7 years, i would like to withdraw and use it because I have no form of income. Is there any repercussions? Will I get penalized for doing so?

Self Directed ROTH IRA's. Don't think I've heard about before now. We can simply buy and hold UST Stablecoin and earn 19.95% interest in SDIRA, no? 20% a year on stable would be more than the average for S&P 500

Have any laws changed, can you still do this? If so, what if you are not employed or self employed, can you still transfer your IRA to a Self Direct to buy real estate?

How would you compare this IRA program with Primeamerica's ? Primeamerica promotes theres as the top IRA

Thanks for this video and also thanks to those who recommended Suzanne Stephens Ellis for her good works. You all have to know that making money digitally is the main key to survival now.

My employer has a great 401k. You’re fully vested at Year Two, and from Day One the employer contributes $1.25 for every $1 I contribute. I look at it as a great tax deferred raise.

  14. Peter Piper

You don’t like Trump. I don’t like you. Bye

  15. Glenn Selby

Great content. Thank you. One question. I understand that I can buy crypto through my SDIRA, but can I MOVE crypto into it from another exchange or wallet like Coinbase? Thank you.

How can I manage my direct IRA if I don’t have any knowledge of investment. Could you please tell me? Thank you so much for your time!

  17. Hassan Ajmal

Can you do a video on defined benefit plans?

I want to put away a lot
More cash with this but want to know if I can self direct it. Need to do 150k a year and more

  18. Tim Obrien

I wonder if Trumps tax retuns matter to you today now that our economy is going down the tube… Let's go Brandon!

  19. Nick Carducci

we don't need any comments about TRUMP and his taxes, if he was doing anything illegal the IRS would have raided and taken his tax records, he was being investigated by the IRS, SHUT UP

Hi Mark, I get the feeling that, in order to SUCCESSFULLY be investing my money in SDIRA, I need to be an expert investor as I will be the one who will be in absolute control on what types of investments to choose from, conversely from what happens with, for instance, a 401K where funds are invested by a third party. "Investing in what I know" does not seem like a viable option to me at the moment, as I am not an experienced or competent investor. Should I just stick to regular IRA (ROTH or non) then? I am very interested on your thoughts on this matter, please, as it seems that you are a massive advocate of this type of investment. Thanks so much!

Talking about ratting out your neighbor made me unlike your video.

15:03 That was a pretty sick mic burnout, there, Mark. I think you tax geeked so hard the space-time continuum tore open from the sheer cosmic power resonating in your voice. The poor air molecules couldn't take the awesome might of the tax knowledge being compressed into them with each passing wavelength, and began splitting and recombining several trillion times per nanosecond, shredding through the sound barrier like tissue paper and opening up our realm, for a brief moment, into higher dimensions of beautifully pure financial nirvana. Bliss.

That, or, you know, someone turned on a microwave in the other room or something.

  32. Mike Barto

When you roll out to a IRA does the same mutual funds roll? Or do you sell all the funds? If you transfer into a self directed fund do you sell all 401k mutuals funds and cash only transfers?

  33. Mike Barto

Can you take any profit or does it all go back in to the IRA?

  38. Katherine Miner

How do you find "old" 401 k's from past jobs? How would you know you had one or not if your no longer with that company?

  39. Paulette Freeman

do you have to pay taxes on a traditional IRA transferred to self directed

  40. Fausto de Sousa

Miss these good times when Mark use to stand up and use a good'ol white board. 🙂

  41. cole wilson

So I have a traditional ira with E*TRADE
As I’m investing my own funds where I want them into stocks. So what do I need to do next- roll over to a self directed IRA? Is a Llc needed for real estate? Or is that what you buy the real estate under? I get the logistics of not being able to touch any of the funds at all. But the setup and setting up properly is getting me. Thanks for any help.
