Senator Warner expresses confidence in intelligence indicating that Israel was not responsible for bombing Gaza hospital

The U.S. is backing Israel’s claims that it was not an Israeli missile that caused a devastating blast at a Gaza hospital, killing hundreds. After a classified briefing Wednesday, Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Mark Warner (D-VA) joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss his confidence in Israel’s claims, the disinformation campaign from Hamas and calls for an Israeli ceasefire. “We have two different types of intelligence that we’ve reviewed, and I am confident that Israel was not the source of this errant rocket,” Warner says. On Biden telling Israel not to repeat the mistakes of the US in responding to Hamas, Warner says, “The fact that an American leader has the maturity to say, you know what, we may have overdone– taking out the perpetrators of 911 was the right thing to do. But the notion now of history reflecting back… be willing to acknowledge that maybe we didn’t get it 100% right.” “I hope the world listens to that. I hope Israelis listen,” he adds.

However, recent intelligence reports have shed light on the incident, providing evidence that Israel was not responsible for the attack. Senator Mark Warner, a staunch advocate for human rights, expressed confidence in this new information.

The bombing of the Gaza hospital on [insert date] resulted in the loss of innocent lives and added fuel to an already raging fire. The incident propelled accusations against Israel, with many condemning the nation for targeting civilians and disregarding humanitarian norms. However, Sen. Sen. Warner, who has consistently advocated for accurate and transparent information, has expressed his confidence in the intelligence that exonerates Israel from any wrongdoing. There seems to be a forceful push in the media to massage away the reality that Palestinians did vote Hamas in, that they still haven't denounced them, that all the rest of Palestinians outside of Gaza does support them, and that Hamas (an ISIS-variety of murderers) is THE supplier of the # of the quoted Palestinian killed by the Israelis.

This channel had part in it with reporting the death toll from Hamas. Journalists sell terrible news it's in their interest to make it appear as bad as possible.

For Israel to claim that they needed to go after the "facts" for hours of whether they were responsible for the bombing of the Hospital in Gaza, is absolutely ridiculous!!

*Israel isn't interested in just killing Hamas militants and destroying their military infrastructure…if that were true then why are they bombing across all of Gaza and killing Innocent citizens?

He did not sound confident at all…

On the hospital explosion. Still no certainty on the source. The main issues –

    1. Rocket footage originally posted in media from IDF sources supporting Islamic Jihad origin….concerning a discrepancy in timestamp between rocket approach and explosion in the initial footage posted…also possible discrepancy between rocket approach trajectory in footage, and source area claimed in IDF presentation. Discussion of this available via Al Jazeera.

    2. Is it possible that an air-burst munition would have similar effect to a misfired rocket?

    3. Claims that a tweet had been posted by an Israeli official soon after, admitting the strike(afterwards taken down). The account was in the name of Hananya Naftali, a member of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's social media team. I imagine it would not be difficult for cyber investigators to pinpoint the source and either confirm or dismiss this claim?

A thorough independent investigation still needed, and ascribing source of explosion is premature.

I am a US Navy veteran, and I do NOT trust Israel. I am not saying whether or not they are responsible for this attack on the hospital. They did attack the USS Liberty in 1967 (and claimed it was "an accident"). This claim was dubious, because they used fighter jets disguised as Egyptian war planes, jammed the US radar (on a US frequency), and ignored the US flag flying on the ship. The Israeli intention was to sink theUS Warship and claim Egypt did it, so the US would aid Israel in their war. *Please research this on your own to make your own opinion.* I believe that Israel is more than capable (and shown they don't mind killing innocent people) in order to influence public opinion to their cause. Israel also has the political influence to cover it up. The 1967 attack on the USS Liberty is the ONLY attack ever in peacetime on a US force to NOT been congressionally investigated. It was just whitewashed over by both democrats and republicans. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."
