Point of View topics, as the company I recently was laid off from after 19-1/2 years has fewer freight options available to them. We had a dedicated truck to cross country from the SF Bay area to NJ while winding through the nation. Now with fewer options for the drivers out there, we'll all begin to see how it affects us all.
But there has been a driver shortage for years…the companies have been hiring drivers for a long time…
25 days before diesel fuels run out completely. WH says will get back to you later. No trucks will be on the road. Period with no Diesel.

I was in the trucking biz for over 40 yrs, owning multiple trucks in my final 20 yrs. It is a tough biz and ain’t for the faint of heart! Profits are razor thin and every mistake costs thousands of $$$!
I dispatch fuel tankers in NE. Diesel is out at about 70% of the terminals we contract with. Prices going much higher if you can even find diesel
Why wait to fill empty propane tanks? Prices will go from 60.00 to 120.00.
POV from a truck driver/couple b/c they see so much more than most of us, cover more space and have a totally different perspective. And how world events affects them as truckers, food costs, deisel, product movement, what other truckers are saying, movement of grains, spotting trains sitting and not moving for days/weeks their seeing, etc. Remember Liz and Doug see waaayyy more than the rest of us sitting at home. And I'll add weather to that b/c the powers at be are manipulating weather. We just had a joyous full 24 hours rain here in N Texas, which filled some of the cattle tanks and watered the hard red wheat winter crops.

I don't think that there's a driver shortage. There's a no freight shortage. Here in California there's nothing on the load boards. As far as the pay. It's very low thanks to the broker keeping everything & these illegals with Mexican license. Who work for pennies.

So 11/18 the Diesel shortage no one is driving Trucks. There's your News! Then 11/19 no Trains running.
Is it true that the country will be completely out of Diesel fuel in 22 to 25 days unless this administration does a course correction to save our energy crisis! I have heard it from multiple credible sources so I wanted to get this from someone in the trucking industry. I pray that information is wrong!
