    Another possible benefit of retaining funds in TSP is that twice per month funds transfer can be executed without cost. I'm not advocating day trading within TSP, but convenient movement of funds from market exposure has some value.

    You have all your TSP in the G fund? Factoring in inflation, you are losing money with that strategy. I had a 45% PIP for 2020, and am doing well in 2021. Why not allocate some of that to S and C?
