Do you also have a 401k at work? With a match? Anyone reading this do up to match regardless of any debt you have. I have been in debt most of my adult life (I am 47) but always did upto match. I wouldn't have 6 figures in my retirement if not for that.
Does vanguard not have fractional shares? I have my main brokerage and IRAs w fidelity and I can buy in “dollars” instead of share, say I only have 100$ but want to buy an etf.

I will have to open IRA. I hear that its better to open IRA when you are debt free.
