This might be a silly question but what happens if Stash goes out of business? Do I lose my money? Also, what if I want to switch from Stash to a different app in a few years, do I get to transfer the money or am I stuck with Stash?

If I end up canceling my stash subscription in a few years and delete the app. Where does my IRA go? And how can I see it then? And if I open another one through a different bank/app do they just join together? I don’t understand the IRA and retirement very much but I know I need to open one.

Is the core personal invest account technically a Roth IRA? What would happen if I simply put all of my money into the core personal invest account instead of the Roth or Traditional account until I reach retirement age? Would I have to pay taxes on my returns?

I have a stash account already, and I need to open up a Roth IRA. Naturally, I'm curious about Stash Retire, but what I don't understand (and can't seem to find on the internet) is how it stacks up against more traditional Roth IRA accounts like TD AmeriTrade or Wealthfront. Can you point me in the right direction?
