Title: Our World Is Being Forced Back to 1800s Lifestyles
Introduction
As the year 2020 has unfolded, the world has witnessed an unprecedented series of events that have drastically altered our lives. From the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent economic downturn to the social unrest and natural disasters plaguing various parts of the globe, it almost feels as if we are being forced to revert to lifestyles reminiscent of the 1800s. While some aspects of this transition may bear nostalgic resemblances, it is essential to recognize the challenges we face and reflect on the lessons we can learn from history to navigate these uncertain times.
1. The Return of Local and Self-sufficiency
In the 1800s, communities were primarily self-reliant, with most of their needs met locally. Today, with global supply chains disrupted and travel restrictions in place, our dependence on far-flung sources is diminishing. Local businesses and agriculture are making a resurgence as people seek out necessities within their immediate vicinity. Balcony gardens and backyard farming have become popular, echoing the era when individuals grew their own food and depended less on external resources.
2. Education Through Alternative Means
The pandemic has forced schools and universities to close their doors, leading to a swift transition to remote learning. In the 1800s, formal education was far from widespread, and families often relied on homeschooling and informal learning methods. Today, we are witnessing a resurgence of homeschooling and online education, bringing education back to the household. While the challenges are immense, the digital era offers opportunities for global connections and access to knowledge unimaginable in the 1800s.
3. Rediscovering Simplicity and Nature
The frantic pace of modern life often leaves us disconnected from nature and the simple pleasures it offers. Restrictions and lockdowns have compelled us to slow down and explore our local surroundings, much like people did in the 1800s. We have rekindled our love for outdoor activities, such as hiking and gardening, as well as embracing simpler hobbies such as crafting and reading. The renaissance of these activities highlights the human need to find solace in the natural world and emphasizes the importance of balancing technology with mindful, nature-oriented pursuits.
4. Health Practices and Sanitation
The global health crisis has reminded us of the fundamental importance of hygiene and sanitation. People in the 1800s battled various infectious diseases with limited medical knowledge and interventions. Today, we are witnessing a surge in practices such as thorough handwashing, sanitization, and the use of face masks to protect ourselves and others. These practices mirror the emphasis on cleanliness that arose during the 19th century and have become vital tools in our fight against the spread of diseases today.
Conclusion
While the world has certainly been forced to make adjustments that echo the lifestyles of the 1800s, it is crucial to recognize the advancements and progress we have made since then. The global interconnectedness, technological advancements, and healthcare breakthroughs of the 21st century grant us advantages that our predecessors could only dream of. However, as we navigate these challenging times, we can draw important lessons from history, appreciating the virtues of self-reliance, simplicity, and community while utilizing the tools and knowledge available in our modern world. By combining the best of both eras, we can rise stronger and more resilient together.

Yeah. My mother and several other relatives stole a small "farm", a really nice house built in the early sixties, 5 acres of pasture, barn, shop/ garage, Large garden and sixty five acres of land covered with large mature trees mostly Douglas Firs in the country in SW Washington .
I live in a town in a large low income apartment complex in a tiny disability income.
I've not even had the money or resources to do any prepping of any kind.
If the shtf gets much worse I've considered a diy self deliverance or euthenasia.
I found out late in life that most of my relatives especially my mother have always been very covert narcissists or psychopaths unfortunately.
I wish they'd have taught us about that type of thing in schools or even in the military when I was in there.
In the meantime I truly don't see things going back to the 1800s… Most are living in big cities or suburbs, totally reliant and addicted to the grid and technology… Most can't physically do any hard physical work at all and have less than zero skills outside of the most modern lifestyle…. Etc… So most can't survive any reduction in technology and convenience.
About the recent same news::: Europe is thousands of miles away. Mexico is far away and they've been flowing in a long time now. I'm thousands of miles from Illinois. .. Most of us are — far from Chicago. Not worried about the insanity in Illinois. Other states like I think NY, California, etc already have the catch and release law for serious criminals. Yes it's a mega mess but it's not really spreading to other non liberal States .. The economic mess is a foregone conclusion for the working class. ….. It won't much impact the very poor and the very wealthy… So it'll only hit the working class who right now have money to prep if they want to. If they fail to prep I do not feel the least sorry for them. Government corruption is also a forgone conclusion… Yes something that looks like the Beastv systenv could be implemented in cities, suburbs.. Btw babies and elderly survived and often could do better before the modern world got to this point (jim Jones prior covid vax mandates – do you think that type of thing, maybe a different bug, will never resurface if your 8n the grid like a baby sucking on his/her rubber binkie passidier??)… As for the slim possibility of the electric grid shutting off (keep in mind the elites, the wealthy are enjoying all their fun and perversions and they demand to continue) why on Earth are people who see it as a possibility not buying an acre or more rural off grid and setting up???? It can easily be done if you're working class or higher income, but no one's doing it — everyone just wants to stay in the cities and suburbs or hooked up dependant on the electric grid while hemming and hawing about where things are going like the princess and the pea story… If it's going there buy a tiny lot, put up a t8ny house, fence it, get some mean dogs, etc. If the powers that be are going to put a pea under your matress whose job is it to make a new matress that's pea proof. Sorry not trying to be mean but maybe it's time to either poo or get off that toilet. Complaining about the pea under the mattress — well the powers that be do not care. People are literally living princes and the pea talking about the big bad perverted government like they can somehow vote the corruption away.
1500-1800 best Time ever on Earth when the Spanish Ruled the World. Everyone was happy and had everything. Free Commerce between Europe, Asia and America….
Then came the English and fucked up everything with Black Slavery, Donughts, Burgers, and Hollywood.
Looks like we will be pissing in our gardens, at least we can make our own ammonia.
Do you think the US government might start cutting budgets, NOT.
ALL FOSSIL FUELS, CARBON BASED ACTIVITIES ARE BEING SHUT DOWN, PERMANENTLY SHUT DOWN!!!@@@@@@ WATCH@@@
Goldbacks – get your local small communities to start transitioning to this or other similar barter tokens.
I just started bringing Goldbacks into my area and so far have 100% interest in it and 90% acceptance/usage. There is less trust in the fiat currency of greenbacks and more interest in hyper-fractionalized gold tokens like Goldbacks and others.
Without something like this, communities might have to make their own barter currencies like in the past turbulent times (colonial times and great depression era for ex). Might have to resort to having the local beekeeper issue "honey money" lol (look it up)
Too funny. Stoke the fear by threatening the loss of 18.4 million acres due to land use while ignoring the 300 million acres of California rice fields that are not being harvested this year due to central planning ineptitude.
Annoying beeping sound
Everytime I listen to these presentations I'm thinking more better . You through out plenty for consideration David . Thanks Mon
Regressive the progressive way of life.
But don't forget that HAAP control's our weather! So if they want to depopulate our world then they will!
I think bartering can be dngerous even fatal…. I'm not doing it and just pleading poor house.
Hi David-QUESTION-How much food do you recommend storing in addition to doing your own food gardening? Thank you!
David,
I have a precious metals Roth IRA like you recommend.
But I’m haunted by the suspicious thoughts that “they” wouldn’t have let us do those unless they have a plan where they get to take that away from us one day too, probably with the stroke of a pen.
Thanks David, truth is a hard pill to swallow but it needs to be done now
there is an annoying bip sound in your video
Modernity is destroying humans. This has to end, going back to normal life like before 1800s, this is a good thing. What enjoyment does this modern life give? We have 6 lane wide highways packed where you drive for hours a day to slave away. To do what go home and eat microwaved food and rot your mind on TV? We have internet for 30 years now and we’ve reached the great height of minors selling their own pornography.
Modernity itself is weakness and the destruction of what it is to be human. Do not fear death my friends for what we are going towards now is the breath of fresh air we have been denied for 100+ years.
