The Death of the Stretch IRA, Passing of the SECURE Act

Back in early 2019 Congress had passed the secure act and sent it to the Senate. It sat there for a while and of course we’ve had a bit of turmoil in Washington, but they finally approved. The president signed off on it at the end of December 2019. In this video I will go through some highlights which will affect many of our Wealth and Wisdom viewers.. The biggest impact is that we will no longer be able to do the stretch IRA. This has major implications as its pertains to planning and will impact many taxation of IRA’s.

Not to make it so negative, but there is one positive as it pertains to required minimum distribution.
