The Mississippi River at Memphis

So is there a play to short barge traffic and go long on trains? Didnt Michael Burry invest in water? Anyone know how to do that?

Going long on trains is easy, shorting barges may be a little more difficult without researching companies that utilize the barge system for transport of goods. May not quite get a short on a barge, but the companies that utilized it will have weighty incurred costs from needing to find alternative means of transport. Trucking/logistics may be a good play here as well.

What strikes me odd with this picture is where is all of the fish and trash?

Michael Burry responded to my craigslist ad looking for someone to mow my lawn. “$30 is $30”, he said as he continued to mow what was clearly the wrong yard. My neighbor and I shouted at him but he was already wearing muffs. Focused dude. He attached a phone mount onto the handle of his push mower. I was able to sneak a peek and he was browsing Zillow listings in central Wyoming. He wouldn’t stop cackling.

That is to say, Burry has his fingers in a lot of pies. He makes sure his name is in all the conversations.

I bought one of those machines that purifies piss into water. It’s sterile and I like the taste.

    >No, there is no play to short barge traffic and go long on trains. Michael Burry did not invest in water.

Kinda moot, barge traffic slows this time of year anyway.

    When was that photo taken?

Hurricane Ian sucked pulled massive amounts of water from the Gulf areas & rivers. Be aware that this is a near term contributor to very low water levels seen here. They’ll return.

I hard to say it but CNN is just running with a narrative here.

Drove over that bridge today. Can confirm lots of dried area next to the main channel. Saw several barges in the main channel.
