TCS mein to aisa nahi lagta hain sir. Mera friend who is 2 year experienced java developer got an offer from tcs on 17 june with joining date of 25 September. He has resigned from his current company. Now TCS hr has told my friend that his joining has been postponed to December 2023. He is very frustrated now. Did not expected this from TCS for lateral hires also.

I need your guidance. I'm looking for a job change, have 3 years of experience and one offer in hand offering 65% on current CTC, please guide how much Salary hike or Raise I can ask for , while interviewing for other companies? Can we ask for 100% to 150% hike right now, if have another offer in hand? I'm confused Because news are saying recession is now over almost but all industry people are saying market condition is still not good so just accept the offer for whatever the company will provide.
