The Start of a New Era: Global Recession and the Emergence of a New World Order – Brian Rose & Jim Rickards

In the wake of the unprecedented global pandemic caused by COVID-19, the world economy has been hit hard, with businesses shutting down, unemployment skyrocketing, and governments struggling to provide relief to their citizens. As the dust settles on this economic crisis, many experts are predicting a global recession that will have far-reaching consequences for years to come.

In their book “The Shift Begins: Global Recession and the Rise of a New World Order,” authors Brian Rose and Jim Rickards explore the implications of this economic downturn and the potential for a new world order to emerge in its wake. Rose, a former investment banker, and Rickards, a renowned financial expert, draw on their wealth of experience and knowledge to provide insight into the current state of the global economy and what the future may hold.

The authors argue that the economic fallout from the pandemic is just the beginning of a larger shift in the global economy that will lead to a restructuring of power dynamics on the world stage. They predict that countries will be forced to reevaluate their relationships with each other, leading to the rise of new alliances and the decline of traditional power structures.

One of the key themes of the book is the idea of financial warfare, where countries use economic tools to exert influence and gain leverage over their rivals. Rose and Rickards delve into the ways in which countries like China and Russia are using their economic might to advance their agendas and challenge the dominance of the United States and other Western powers.

The authors also discuss the role of technology in shaping the new world order, particularly the rise of cryptocurrencies and digital currencies. They argue that these new forms of money will play a crucial role in the global economy, potentially disrupting traditional financial systems and reshaping the balance of power between countries.

Overall, “The Shift Begins” is a thought-provoking and timely exploration of the economic challenges facing the world today. Rose and Rickards provide valuable insights into the future of the global economy and the potential for a new world order to emerge in the aftermath of the current crisis. As countries grapple with the fallout from COVID-19 and the looming recession, this book offers a comprehensive analysis of the changing dynamics of the global economy and the implications for the future.

Jim has a pathetic softness to Putin. He underestimates what Russia want to do in Europe and how much he hates the West. He DOES NOT know them at all. All knowledge Jim has about Russia comes from Igor Sechin. Congrats. British have a long experience with Imperial Russia, Soviet Union and Putler's Russia.

Donbass is Ukraine. That is non-negotiable! The invaders go home, create a grey zone within Russia's borders, pay restitution and we sign security agreements (again). Nobody trusts Putin and they shouldn't. And yes, Biden started this thing by his ignorance

America has been over-extending its power for decades now… the world has had enough… our leaders ONLY think in 4 year time periods, and this is detrimental to America…it’s pretty simple.

I love this man. Col McGregor, Scott Ritter professor saks and another ray McGovern have all been saying the same thing. In fact professor saks spoke to a high official in the state department and asked him not to push for the war abd the guy laughed at him. So I guess they’ll eat humble pie and in the process destroy Ukraine.
