Well I’ve had a 401K for a while, and I started Acorns 3 months ago or so and Acorns has an easy set up Roth and I went ahead and did it, but I’ve only got $10 per wk doing into it. Should I not do it or should I do more? I’m 49

I want to take $9000 out of a traditional IRA and do a conversion by transferring it to my existing Roth IRA. Can I do that?
I know the $9000 would be subjected to income tax but it won't put me into a taxable income level. Do I still have to wait five years to use the funds? If so why?

Thanks for the video! Question… I’m 49 and looking to start the Roth IRA this year. If I plan to retire at 65, what am I looking at as far as total available to me at that time? Is there an easy way to calculate potential amount I will have at age 65?
