Those of you who think $tsla had low delivery numbers aren’t looking at it right.

I’ll make this short and simple. If you expect me to sell 350k units of a thing. And I sell 365k units of a thing, but 22k of those units are in the mail being shipped, are you happy or mad about thst situation?

If you answered “I’m happy that you sold an extra 15k” then you’re correct!

The 343k delivered number, would be a bad number if it were also paired with a 343k produced number. But they produced 365k.
Why does that matter? Because they sold 365k. And the sales show up on earnings even if the vehicle wasn’t delivered yet. WHICH MEANS, 365k (+ more) sales is showing up on earnings for q3.

The ONLY number you should pay attention to is the produced number (unless delivery issues were so great thst the number was cut in half or something catastrophic as such).

Well I’m pretty sure it shouldn’t, unless Elon employs an accounting team as fraudulent as he is.

Great, throw tgat 15k. Then Throw in a million extra imaginary units for funzies, and its still overvalued 10x what it should be.

Well, you’re wrong. And if Tesla accounted like you want them to, the SEC would be all over them.

Inventory doesn’t count as sold, and until the car is paid for, and delivered, Tesla cannot add that into their revenue numbers.

They had record breaking deliveries compared to the same time last year.

Tesla delivered a record 343,830 vehicles in Q3, 11% above the company’s previous record.

Production was a record 365,923 vehicles during the quarter.

The backlog is shrinking. Used to be 8 months now just 2-3.

I love how people think Tesla is just a car company.

The market apparently disagrees with the whole “You got another production miss analyzed completely wrong” meme. Hilarious fanboy stuff dude

Realistically what people on this sub think about Tesla in general doesn’t matter. What does matter is what those big bags think about it on Wall Street. Which watching the market who the fuck knows what they are thinking in general.
