    This guy is so full of shit. He keeps referring to the employer as “the company,” but the TSP is for federal government employees. There is no company. And he says you don’t want to contribute more than the match. Lol. Don’t buy a used car from these guys, and definitely don’t let them handle your money.

    I just enrolled in TSP.  I know for ROTH IRA the last contribution date for 2014 is April 15th of 2015.  What about TSP?  What is the last contribution date for 2014 TSP?  Is it my last pay check in December 2014 or my last pay check to April 15th, 2015?  Thanks.  =)

    You can take out a TSP loan. If you need the money at 58, just borrow it and pay it back over time.  That way you pay no penalty and pay yourself the interest.
