I screwed up, I had like $50k from a 401k I rolled into a self directed IRA….now it's over $300k and I want to retire early. (I have other $ in a cash account)…..how do I avoid paying big income tax on it???? I should have done a Roth IRA, I realize that now, most of that money is growth and would normally only be 15% long term tax,……how can I avoid the big income tax on all that money???

I found a traditional IRA platform where you can invest in bullions and cryptocurrency. If you are interested in investing in bullions such as Gold you can open your IRA here: https://regalassets.com/a/19265 You can also open a cryptocurrency IRA where you can invest in cryptos such as Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin: https://regalwallet.com/a/19265 Personally I would recommend you to invest in cryptos.

Typically taxes only go up over the course of time so wouldn't Roth be always advantageous? and not to mention typically as one becomes senior in the workplace their pay goes up which means their tax bracket goes up….

how about the investment return you get on the tax money you avoid paying now? it's like investing IRS's money for u own benefit, if you don't pay tax till retirement.

  23. Johnny Bates

    Thanks for the insight bro!

I'd like to have both. A traditional to take advantage of my employer contribution and a Roth for playing the market.

What do you think about my approach. I'd love to hear your insight. Peace!

Isnt it better to take Roth because if you invest in stocks and bonds and you raise your capital, and then when you witdraw the money you dont need to pay taxes ?
And if you take the traditiional then your gonna lose like 30% of your gains established on stocks bonds ?

  36. eladio hernandez

traditional is a better choice for accounts up to 100k becouse the money that you pay tax can grow the accounts my opinion is if you have the money allready taxed then go for a roth

  37. Zach

I wasn't looking for an opinion on the future political landscape of the country. I was looking for an explanation on the differences between these two IRA's. Maybe you could have just said "If you are young, pick a Roth, since you will probably make more money as you get older (hopefully) thus making your tax bracket higher). Predicting tax brackets based off of the unknown future is silly.
