Welcome to this Transfer Tuesday video. The goal of these videos is to make sure we are making progress on all of our financial goals each and every week. So, I will be sharing the transfers we have made in the last week. We are currently working on paying off debt, saving for a 6-month emergency fund, and investing.

    I set up automatic weekly transfers of $25 to my children's UTMA accounts. Their accounts have been growing nicely over the past few years.

    Just a point of clarifiaation. Katie, mentioned income limits on Roth. There ARE income limits on 401K Roths, . Not sure there are for IRAs. But even if there are limits for making a CONTRIBUTION to a Roth IRA there is NOT an income limit on doing a CONVERSION. This is called doing a ":back door" IRA conversion. If not sure contact your IRA administrator. (likely a brokerage house), to get it clarified for you.

    Not sure if this is a transfer but I went ahead and booked my Aruba vacation for my 40th birthday this year. We’ve been on this investing journey for 10 years now and it’s time to take a breather and enjoy some of the fruits of our labor though still hitting our financial goals.
