Hi Leila, if u miss December you still have til April 14th. For someone money savvy u bank w all 3 big banks w fees: Chase, WFC, BOA. NO Sofi, Schwab, Ally, or local credit unions.
hey! maxing out the ROTH is a great move. I wanted to max out ours too, but it won't happen until next year. I moved out tax refund and bonus to our emergency fund! We hit $15k saved our goal is $20k.

My transfer was automatic. Didn't realize my bonus would split the 12% election to IRA. Thought I'd have that extra $1k for bills

I made an $850 payment to my HELOC today. The minimum payment was $191.This takes my remaining balance down to $25,847.85. I plan on making another payment of $847.85 before the end of the year to hit the goal of heading into 2023 with only 25K remaining at 7% interest.
No other debts-home/3 vehicles all paid off/401K maxed/$3500 of 2022 ROTH contributions so far. I'll be focusing on getting that fully funded during the 1st quarter.

I love this Transfer Tuesday idea!!! I opened a new chequing and savings account this week because of a promo and I just transferred my first 200 bucks into the new savings account!
You have from Jan. 1 of the tax year to April 15 of the following year (when your tax return is typically due) to fund your Roth IRA.
My Transfer for today was my car loan payment which I am paying above my minimum to make a dent in my balance.
Great video Leila!!! I sent $33.66 to my Roth IRA, $20 to my Emergency fund and $23 extra to a credit card!!
No action for me this time, but I am waiting this (or next) week, to save my final 1k extra in my total 2022 accumulated balance. I expect to close arouns 26.7k in total savings, so I will be ahead until you can catch me up once you get your 2022 bonus in March.
