Hello! I always say that small progress is still progress, so you got this! I’d love to know how much you’ve earned from your savings by the time you pay your SL! I’m most certain that will include it in that video tho, but it’s awesome seeing you earning more and more. On my end, I was able to pay off my last student loans payment today! I literally can’t believe it, I’ve been crying the whole day. It took me 7 years to finally pay that off and I can’t be more proud of myself. Yey!
On 6/15, the Federal Reserve raised its target US interest rate by 0.75% to 1.50-1.75%. By next week, US money market funds [MMF] (such as Fidelity and Vanguard) will likely yield 1.5%. Fintech companies and banks willl need to increase the rates
on their money market accounts (MMA) to complete. You should review the rate on your Marcus HYS account and move it if they do not keep up.
