Great video, may you discuss TSP interfund transfers? Will a interfund transfer from TSP G fund to TSP C fund cause penalty fees or an additional tax event by the IRS or TSP?

Do the lifecycle funds count as mutual funds (i.e., 2030, 2035, etc.)? I couldn't find anything on the TSP site to verify this either way. I believe that they would qualify as the passive funds.

As usual. The govt gets screwed. Better yet, the employees. The tsp funds already are basically mutual funds. Why in the world would I pay these outrageous fees to get something I can get free over at Schwab or vanguard… and wtf is going on with the new setup and reregistering. Absolute disaster.

The fees are outrageous. I don't think this benefit was implemented the way it was intended.
