What to Do with an Active 401k
In general, I’m not a fan of the 401k. Although they are increasingly rare, I do think that a company match is a good reason to continue contributing to a 401k. If you find yourself in this position, you may want to consider taking a loan from your 401k to invest in performing assets.

    Now on the other hand, if he has many millions of dollars and he is still living a fun lavish life and he just wants to invest some of his spare cash for the fun of it, then OK that makes sense

    No offense but investing is smart when you’re 20, 30 and 40. If you’re 70 years old and still trying to invest instead of enjoy life, then you missed the entire point of life. You can’t bring the money with you, hombre!
