In this video, I will explain why VHYL High Dividend Yield ETF is in my dividend ETF portfolio. This Vanguard ETF, FTSE all-world High Dividend Yield UCITS ETF, is one that i own and i will provide some information on why it is a great way to get diversification in your dividend portfolio.
I wish i had found a simple explanation of how to get around the Vanguard fund pages when i first looked at them. I will provide some of the information that you may find helpful to know! For me, investing in a diverse index fund helps me reduce my risk when investing in the stock market.
This is one of the investments in my portfolio, but just because VHYL is one of my favourite index fund, it doesn’t mean it may be the right index fund for you! Please make sure that you do your own research before choosing what to invest in.

I just sold my VHYL holding ( as it's not currency hedged against a rising GBP ) and bought IGWD.
you still in Northern Ireland or over in London or what. Cool to hear a Belfast person talk about Vanguard 🙂
I'm hating job and boss at the minute. The thought of working there for the next 20 or so years is a grim prospect.
I have a bit of a cash pile but hard to find a good return with lowish risk.
I started investing in July this year. It's been a roller-coaster! I must have watched thousands of video and yesterday your channel popped up in my feed. I have to say I love it. Simple, simple, simple. No faf, no bs. Just straight forward clear, concise content. I look forward to more vids and also communicating with you over time. I have made a couple of errors like investing in several isas at once which concerns me and I'm not sure of the consequences. Also I'd be interested if you could do a vid on capital gains tax. Thank you for your time. Regards Mark
Ps. I have Vhyl, vwrl, vusa and target 2040 retirement fund in my sipp
