Warren Buffett explains why he considers S&P 500 Index Fund to be the best investment for the majority of people. In fact, most people who are paid to deliver higher returns than the indexes (mutual fund managers, financial advisors etc.), can’t outperform the stock market.
The question goes: “Why have you advised your wife to invest in index funds after your death rather than Berkshire Hathaway? I believe Munger has counseled his offspring to quote, ‘Not be so dumb as to sell.’”
From Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting. (2017)

Please I need someone to help me trade or invest the forex or crypto market because I'm tired of trading in losses myself. I've blown my account twice and it's frustrating..
I am trying to avoid making any new buys at this point in other not to get sucked into a bear market trap. It's tough making money in stocks when institutional investors are the driving force behind the selling.. although I read an article of people that grossed profits up to $150k during this crash, what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist
Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. I started investing with $120k and in the first 2 months , my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and gets more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.
NO BODY BECOMES A MILLIONAIRE OR A BILLIONAIRE BY WORKING FOR OTHERS AND DEPENDING ON THEM, GOOD INVESTMENT BRING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, AND CONSISTENCY BRING BILLIONS, THE MARKET IS ALL ABOUT BTC AT THE MOMENT NOW.
U.S stocks opened lower on Thursday, extending losses after the Federal Reserve's jumbo interest rate hike as investors weigh labor-market data. My portfolio has good companies, however it has been stalling this year. I have approximately $600k stagnant in my reserve that needs growth.
The volatility in the market is alarming. How can i diversify my reserve across multiple markets while creating a comprehensive portfolio allocation that balances my concerns of risk aversion and returns that meet yearly inflation? I mean I've heard of people making up to $300k weeks during this crash and I'd like to know how.
The S&P, The Nasdaq, The Russel, The Dow Jones, SPY & TSLA etc. They've all failed since the beginning of 2022. The S&P lost about 13-14 percent and more since the beginning of the year. And Because of that there are a lot of opportunities that you can take if you are willing to profit from the market.
Oh how it is in his best interest that traders stay in a stock and think long as opposed to think of profit. There is no doubt that profits are maximized with compounded interest but I doubt one could convince me that 5% interest per year is better then 50%.
I'll forever be thankful to you you've changed my whole life continue to preach about your name for the world to hear you've saved me from a huge financial debt with just little investment, thanks so much Mrs. Ellen Riley.
Now we may have a real problem with WMDs
Great content, I am new to investments, I have always saved my money in the bank, Recently I came across a saying which says money saved will be spent, so I decided to start investing, I want to begin my retirement plan as soon as possible. I really do not know much. Please how do I begin? what do I do?
would be nice if his philantropy could be directed to all those suffering around the world caused by the US interventions and wars for their economical gains…new 350 millions into food uncertainty because of ukraine meddling.
So outrageously wrong, but the sheeple don't know any better.
I've got a tax exempt stocks and shares isa, and invest in the Vanguard S&P500 Acc along with the FTSE 100 acc
Nice video, though everyone loves the luxury lifestyle but many don't want to take the risk to invest or work for it.. Now's the best time to buy the dip and it's an opportunity that will grant you all the luxury you crave for.
When it comes to investing, we want our money to grow with the highest rates of return, and the lowest risk possible. While there are no shortcuts to getting rich, but there are smart ways to go about it.
if words could dance.
Better MSCI world
I heard Roth IRA is one of the best retirement plans but I have not tried it out, I know a few online investments and trading, I will like to start a Roth IRA investment, Please is there any advice you can give to me on how to begin?
Warren Buffet advises people to invest into SandP simply because Berkshire Hawathay comprises a significant amount of the funds holdings, simple.
Fantasztikus!!! a lehetőségeid határtalannak tűnnek. Mindig is lenyűgözött a befektetés, de anélkül, hogy tudnám, mibe érdemes befektetni, nehéz nekilátnom. Udvariasan megkérdezem, melyik szektor a legjobb befektetéshez?
Tanking ever since…..should be ok long run.
I've always only bought S&P index funds. Time and patience = $$$
Think big, set goals, work hard and succeed. I realize in life there’s no shortcut to getting rich, but investing remains the best way to go about it.
I make huge profit on my investment since I started trading with Mrs Blythe Masters, her trading strategies are highly exceptional
<Always good to hear your thoughtful and analysis. I think we are entering a crab market Personally. We will still get our pumps and dumps but based purely on what the Fed are doing. That being said, as traders we can still make good money Thanks to my trader Mr Bernie doran for his amazing skills for helping me to earn 10Btc through trading platform chart. Great TA as always, the fact is that i am still yet to record a loss with him which distinguishes him among other experts. Reach out to him above for more inquiries !
I think I'm blessed because if not I wouldn't have met someone who is as spectacular as expert Mrs Lucy Mary Liam
No Warren……you can't beat S&P 500. I couldn't put enough money into it to make a difference in my life.
A wise man once said, "if you don't find a way to make money while you sleep, you will work until you are dead", I started my investments and retirement immediately, but I was new, so I decided to use the services of Suzanne Stephens Ellis a licensed stockbroker recommended to me by my husband. I make so much profit trading with her. You too can make profit. It is never too late to a retirement plan.
Go Buffet Go!!!!
Schwab ETFs for me
Had $25k sitting in a savings fun in my retirement account. Dumped it into the S&P500 a year or two ago and it's up to $35k today. Still another 10 years until I retire from my current job with a pension at the age of 38. Will transfer to an IT job and dump roughly half of my pension into my retirement fund as well. Estimated at a 5% growth until I'm 65 i'll have almost $1mil. Without any further contributions after age 38. Definitely looking forward to my retirement
I HATE MONEY!!
For the MAJORITY of people but not for serious investors like Buffet who know what they're doing and who take the time and effort to do it right. I'll let you in on a little secret: guys like them didn't achieve their great wealth from buying low cost index funds. I'll leave it at that.
Talking money until their last breath, sad!!!!!!
Over the past 20 and 10 years Berkshire Hathaway has basically performed the same as the S&P 500. And in the last 10 years S&P 500 has done better averaging 17% PA vs Berkshire 15% PA. More than 20 years ago Buffet was regularly beating the S&P 500 returning 30% PA vs S&P 15%PA. But nowadays you may as well buy the S&P 500 the same as Berkshire
Warren Buffet is a joker, he knows the Sp 500 is primed to collapse in the Great Reset from stagflation. The days of easy returns in index tracker funds are coming to an end. Don't listen to the Oracle, he is taking orders from his communist paymasters.
Philanthropy *send money to Bill gates foundation *
Still @ 13% return a year average.
I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks.I believe having 75K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities.
