Say your income was $0.00 for the year, but you intend to roll over say 25k Traditional 401k to Roth IRA – would that 25k count as income?
How do I find a smart reliable financial and tax advisor?
I am in California…
if you have 401k and roth IRA. Which one do you withdraw first at 60 yrs old? 401k or ROTH IRA?
ROTH IRAs are great but Traditional 401Ks have a place too but the conversions are too expensive
I learned this the hard way last year.
If for some reason you have no taxable income or low income. One should convert at least up to the standard deduction. It is a tax free conversation at that point.
Lots of talk out there about converting NOW( 401k) to Roth IRA . pay the taxes now, they could be higher in the future. ( i have not done this, nor will I )
This video didn’t answer that much.
Hey guys watched a lot of your shows. So I’ve heard people say you will grow way more money with 401k? Vs Roth? Does it all come down to taxes when you are retired? I currently have both Roth and 401k, is this a good way to lower risk when retired?
Roth IRA is the best investment vessel. Tax free growth is AMAZING!
