Call of Duty League’s Major V Qualifiers began on Tuesday, May 11th, with the first day of matches being played. The week-long tournament is the final qualifier for the Call of Duty League’s Major V, which will take place from June 17th to June 20th.
The tournament features all twelve teams in the league, who are fighting for a chance to be one of the eight teams in the Major V. The teams are divided into two groups of six, with the top four teams from each group advancing to the playoffs.
On Day 1 of the tournament, two matches were played in each group. In Group A, the first match featured the New York Subliners, who faced off against the Paris Legion. It was a close match, but the Subliners were able to come out on top, winning 3-2.
The second match of Group A was between the Los Angeles Thieves and the London Royal Ravens. The Thieves won the match soundly, winning 3-0.
In Group B, the first match saw the Toronto Ultra take on the Los Angeles Guerrillas. The Ultra won the match 3-1, securing their first win of the tournament.
The second match of Group B was between the Minnesota RØKKR and OpTic Chicago. This was the most highly anticipated match of the day, as both teams are currently undefeated in the league. OpTic Chicago ultimately won the match, with a score of 3-1.
Day 1 of the tournament saw some exciting matches, and it set the stage for what is sure to be a competitive week of Call of Duty action. Fans of the league can watch the matches live on the Call of Duty League website or on the league’s YouTube channel.
Overall, this tournament is a crucial one for all the teams playing, as it will determine their seeding going into the Major V. The teams that make it to the playoffs will have a shot at the $500,000 prize pool and the chance to be crowned the Call of Duty League’s Major V champions.
Mack and Sib don’t deserve a spot in the league in my opinion. SS need to think about a roster chance very soon if they want any chance at Champs, idk what they are waiting for…
Ghosty and Dashy were carrying that game 5.
Finally faze are done trolling and playing shit this is the type of shit we wanna see
they all use gamepads becasue of aim assist, right? that's how powerful that thing is, it's prof enough to nerf it
Was this Optic vs Legion series one of the best of this season? Unbelievable
How do you enter a league
Lospollostv really became a pro cod player
Why Seattle still stuck with Mack? Sub in gwinn ffs
Woulda been a 3 1 if clay didnt get the most lucky streak kills in cod
Wtf were those ultra surge casters, “put the shoe on the opposite table which has turned” Literally watched the series in silence after half of the first map
about that "floptic" earlier when you guys were up that's unfortunate
either way good series.
